Yes. Every plan includes a signed BAA before we touch any patient data. Most AI vendors only offer BAAs at the enterprise tier. We don't think that's right for healthcare.
What EHR systems does Practice AI integrate with?
Practice AI sends webhook notifications via HL7 FHIR R4 to any compliant system. Full bidirectional integration with Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth is the Enterprise plan. Most integrations take 3 to 6 weeks after access credentials are provided.
How long does setup take?
Starter and Clinic AI go live in 10 to 14 business days. We train Aria on your schedules, services, insurance list, and FAQs. Practice AI takes 3 to 4 weeks. Enterprise depends on EHR access and scope.
Does Aria give medical advice?
No. Aria doesn't evaluate symptoms, give dosage guidance, or make clinical recommendations. She handles scheduling, refill requests, billing questions, and FAQs. If a patient describes symptoms, she routes them to a same-day sick visit or your on-call line.
What happens to patient data after a conversation?
Conversations are processed in memory and not stored beyond session completion. Contact info captured during scheduling goes directly to your front desk system. Nothing is retained on our end beyond what you configure.
Is this ready for the January 2027 CMS FHIR mandate?
Yes. Our Practice and Enterprise plans are built on HL7 FHIR R4. The CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule requires FHIR-based API compliance by January 1, 2027. You're covered before the deadline.
